Some people build businesses by the book. They love their spreadsheets, their five-year projections, their perfectly calculated funnels. I admire them in the same way I admire people who voluntarily run marathons. Impressive, but not my lane.

Being both a mom and an entrepreneur isn’t the glamorous balancing act people imagine. It’s not “work-life balance” tied up in a pretty bow. It’s more like juggling fire while fielding the question “What’s for dinner?” for the hundredth time. Spoiler: the hell if I know.

So, last year I did something wild. I took a job at a high school.
